In June 2010 Hustler magazine published an article by writer Scott Fayner on how to throw the ultimate Nantucket bachelor party. Scott contacted Tony Testa in California who connected him with me — Meni Troupakis — VIP Entertainment out of Manchester, New Hampshire. We put together three of our best dancers — Lexi, Christina, and Lacie — and coordinated the whole operation.
Here is how the night came together. Our driver Mark was on his way to meet Scott when his car broke down. I gave Mark my Jeep Cherokee so he could get to the meeting point near Route 128 outside Boston. From there Scott had a limo waiting. They rode to Hyannis, boarded a private plane, and flew to Nantucket. Lexi, Christina, and Lacie showed up at the island in Nantucket sweatshirts, stepped off the plane, and went to work at a massive private mansion. They stayed overnight. Nantucket Bachelor Parties — Planning Around the Ferry
Nantucket is an island and the Steamship Authority runs the schedule, not us. Planning your party around ferry times is not optional — it is the difference between a great night and a logistical disaster. Here is what you need to know for summer 2026:
Regular ferry from Hyannis last departure: 8:00 PM arriving Nantucket 10:15 PM. If your dancers are taking the regular ferry they need to be at the dock in Hyannis well before 8pm.
High speed ferry last departure from Nantucket back to Hyannis: 8:45 PM arriving 9:45 PM. The high speed ferry gives your dancers a little more flexibility on the return — but 8:45 PM on Nantucket is your hard deadline if they are not staying overnight.
What this means for your party timeline — if you want a full three hour show and your dancers need to catch the last high speed ferry back, your show needs to start no later than 5:30 PM. Book accordingly and plan your group’s dinner and activities around that window. We will help you build the timeline when you call.
The Overnight Option
The cleanest solution for a Nantucket bachelor party is having your dancers stay overnight on the island. No ferry stress, no hard stop time, no racing to the dock at 8:30 PM. Your group gets a full night of entertainment without the clock running. Fair warning — Nantucket summer accommodations are not cheap.
