World Cup Fans Are Staying in Boston, Not Foxboro. Here’s What Happens After the Match.

Gillette Stadium sits almost thirty miles from downtown Boston, out in Foxboro. Most World Cup visitors are not staying anywhere near the stadium. They are booked into Back Bay, Seaport, South End, and Fenway hotels, taking the MBTA’s special Boston Stadium Train down to Foxboro for kickoff, then riding it right back into the city the same night.

That matters if you are planning a bachelor party, a birthday, or just a big group trip around one of these matches. The game is the event. Boston is where the night actually happens.

Two Big Matches Coming to Gillette Stadium

Scotland vs Morocco, Friday June 19, 6 pm

This is Group C, Match 30. Scotland opened the tournament with a 1-0 win over Haiti and comes in ranked 42nd in the world. Morocco is the heavyweight here, ranked 7th, and still carries the weight of their historic run to the semifinals back in 2022, the first time any African or Arab nation reached that stage.

Morocco walked into this tournament with a coaching change. Walid Regragui, the man who built that 2022 run, stepped down in March and handed the team to Mohamed Ouahbi, who had just won the Under-20 World Cup with Morocco’s youth squad. New coach, same talent, and a roster that everyone expects to compete deep into the tournament.

There is history here too. The last time these two teams met at a World Cup was 1998, when Morocco won 3-0. Scotland fans flying into Boston for this one are hoping for a different result decades later.

England vs Ghana, Tuesday June 23, 4 pm

Group L, Match 45. England comes in as one of the favorites in this entire tournament, ranked 4th in the world, and brings one of the largest traveling fanbases of any country at this World Cup. Ghana is the underdog on paper at 73rd, but the Black Stars have history of their own, reaching the quarterfinals back in 2010 and always playing with confidence against bigger names.

England and Ghana do not play each other often, so there is a curiosity factor on top of the stakes. This is England’s third trip to Gillette Stadium during the group stage, which means a serious number of England fans will already know the drill, fly into Logan, stay in Boston, train down for the match, and head back into the city once it’s over.

Why the After Party Happens in Boston

Stunning view of Boston's skyline featuring the iconic John Hancock Tower and modern architecture.

The state has been pushing fans hard to skip driving and take the train, with officials warning about limited parking and heavy traffic near the stadium. The MBTA’s nonstop Boston Stadium Trains run straight from South Station to Foxboro and back, built specifically so fans can come from the city and return to the city. Both of these matches kick off in the early evening on a weekday, which means fans are back in Boston with plenty of night left.

That’s the window. A group lands back at their hotel in Back Bay or the Seaport, the match is over, the adrenaline is still going, and now it’s time to actually celebrate.

Book Strippers for Your World Cup Watch Party or After Match Celebration

I’m Meni. I’ve been booking strippers for private parties across Boston and New England since 1992. If you’ve got a group in town for Scotland vs Morocco, England vs Ghana, or any match this summer, I can bring real performers straight to your hotel room, Airbnb, or wherever you’re staying in the city.

No fake profiles, no bait and switch. The dancer you see in photos is the one who walks through the door. Two strippers is the standard for a group, three for bigger parties of fifteen or more. Same day, next day, any day, I do my best to make it happen even with short notice, which matters when you’re planning around a match schedule and travel.
